Bright new look for the bright summer days

No. 4 Hamilton Place is looking fresh, shiny and bright again following a thorough clean of the building.

You can almost feel the building preening itself in delight as the limestone is restored to its glory days. Our neighbouring buildings were all cleaned over the past year leaving No 4 HP looking a little dull, but now it is by far the smartest building in the row.

The cleaning operation was fascinating – no longer are we reliant on time consuming and expensive scaffolding and waterproof protection to contain the water and sand blasted to clean the building. A self contained unit is hoisted on a crane and positioned around the building as a section at the time is cleaned. The men operating the blaster look a little alarming though – in space suit type protection.

The new topped of the fresh new look with a replacement flag pole and brand new sail type flags aimed to show off the No. 4 Hamilton Place or Royal Aeronautical Society flags in full splendour.
