Engineers working for Boeing may consider strike action after rejecting an offer from the US aircraft manufacturer for a new contract to replace two agreements due to expire on 25 November.
The 23,000 members of The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) say the new contract will mean a cut in salaries. The original contracts expired on 6 October but were continued for a 60-day extension.
