US company Carter Aviation Technologies is flight testing its proof of concept SR/C vertical take-off and landing GA aircraft.
A helicopter-fixed wing hybrid, the SR/C is predicted to have between three to six times the range of a helicopter with speeds of up to 500mph at 40,000ft.
