Vulcan suffers engine hitch

Restored Avro Vulcan XH558 has been temporarily grounded after explosions in two engines before a test flight on 29 May.

Two of the engines were ‘severely damaged’ during an aborted take-off at Robin Hood Airport in the UK. The aircraft will be out of service for the next three to four weeks.
