Saudi Arabia has signed a deal for military training aircraft which includes 22 BAE Systems advanced jet trainer Hawks and 55 Pilatus PC-21 basic trainer turboprops, as well as simulators and other training aids.
Delivieries of the PC-21 will commence in 2014 and the Hawks in 2016. The Royal Saudi Air Force already operates 45 Hawk 65/65As and 47 Pilatus PC-9s.
