A report submitted to the US Armed Services Committee claims that US military aircraft contain 1,800 counterfeit electrical parts, up to 70% of which were made in China.
The report highlights examples of unauthorised parts being found in US Navy SH-60B helicopters and P-8A Poseidon maritime survelliance aircraft, as well as in C-130J and C-27J transport aircraft.
