RAF grounds Sentrys

The RAF has grounded non-essential operations of its Boeing E-3D Sentry airborne early warning and control system aircraft after faults were discovered in the radome supports of two aircraft.

No date has yet been decided when the Sentrys, which are based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, will return to duty.
