Airbus has announced it has begun final assembly of the first A350 XWB in Toulouse.
The first stage sees the 19.7m centre fuselage mated with the 21m forward fuselage. This first aircraft is destined for static test, with the first flying test aircraft, MSN1, to start assembly this summer, according to the manufacturer.
