Troubled Indian carrier Kingfisher Airlines encountered more setbacks on 2 February when it was suspended from the Geneva-based clearing house of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for non payment of dues.
The clearing house is responsible for setting financial transactions between airlines and travel companies. Kingfisher has stated that the fees have now been paid and that the airline hopes to be reinstated shortly.
