Established in 1971, this lecture is biennial with the RAF, it honours Sir Sydney Camm CBE, FRAeS, one of Britain’s most distinguished aircraft designers. He is responsible for the design of the Hawker Hurricane fighter and also the Hart, the Fury, the Typhoon, Tempest, Sea Fury, Sea Hawk, the Hunter and the Harrier.
