Social media has become a pivotal path for learning, knowledge sharing and education among our membership and the wider community. The Royal Aeronautical Society uses social media to further the art, science and engineering of aeronautics,of aeronautics.

How to get involved

We aim to advance the science and practice of aviation and aerospace disciplines, please show your support by through our official social media profiles. Comment, share and enjoy the content we publish online, and encourage others to get involved as well.

The Society’s operates numerous social media profiles and online communities. These include all of the digital methods seen on this page.

The Society does not use social media for internal operations. For enquiries about professional accreditation or other Society services, please contact the Society directly. See our digital digital guidelines for a quick overview of how we intend to use social media.

Social Network Profile

  • The Society’s open group on LinkedIn provides a forum for members and non-members alike to connect with the Society and each other. We encourage you to post about experiences from Society events and discussion about professional acrediation and other career related matters in and around the aerospace sector. Add your voice to the discussions on what you think is important to the aerospace sector by joining our LinkedIn group.
  • The Society’s Flickr page provides access to rare photographs, imagery from the National Aerospace Library and photos from sector events. You can also find the community contributing to photo groups from events around the sector. If you’re keen on avaition and aerospace photographery contribute to the Flickr group.
  • Our YouTube channel plays host to video interviews with key individuals from the aerospace sector, as well as interesting clips from our events and the wider community. Want to know hear the latest news from top bods in the industry? Subscribe to our YouTube channel to be the first to know.

The Aerospace Insight Blog is their digital arm and as the name suggests, provides insight into the section with articles, video interviews, opinion and features every week.
